Here we are, Pet City Mt Gravatt, 52 years on and still an independent family business.  With a staff of over 40 Pet City prides itself on being a leader in the Australian Pet Industry. We’re able to give the right advice on all pets, running parrot programs, puppy preschool, educational seminars and launching a new kitten training program in February. Our Aquarium section is one of the best ever. Our team members in this section are all passionate hobbyists and have an enthusiasm to help. They are able to make sure that every care is given with advice for you in keeping and maintaining your aquarium.  Whether it is fresh or marine, Pet City has it all.

Have you met Caroline, Kristy or Nicole and the other team members in the Small Pet section yet?  They are all enthusiastic and knowledgeable and they care for all the puppies, kittens, mice, rats, guinea pigs and day-old chicks as if they were their own. If you’re looking for one of these pets, come in and talk to the girls. They are ready to give you the best hints and tips.

Some other services you may not know Pet City has are our grooming salon with Melissa, water testing for fresh and salt water, wing clipping, educational visits to schools and school tours of Pet City.

Pet City is a supporter of the university vet school, charities and research programs that involve domestic pets.  Pet City is also an accredited PIAA pet store which means we have high standards to comply with.

Have you joined the Pet City club yet? If not it’s only $25.00 a year and you receive discounts throughout the entire store plus super specials occasionally during the year.  This is a great way to keep more money in your pocket this year. We also have over 10 local businesses joining in to give a discount as well, just by showing your Pet City card.
