Pet City is committed to maintaining the privacy of its customers and of other site visitors. To ensure this we have developed a policy in accordance with international best practice for maintaining the integrity of personal information located on our website.

We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to successfully deliver our services and all information collected is used to improve the content of our website and services, to permit customization of content and/or layout for each individual customer, and for aggregate customer analysis. Information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, for the period specified at the service (e.g. for retention of resumes), or as required by law. When services are provided by our business partners, contact information from the order form is shared with that partner. No individual customer information is otherwise shared with or furnished to any third party.
Pet City uses customer contact information to provide services, send news about our company and deliver promotional material from our partners. Members may choose not to receive these communications by contacting us via email, telephone or fax.
Financial information is used only to bill a customer for products and services purchased from us and for aggregate customer analysis, as described in the Security section below. Customer data collected by Pet City may be transferred between Pet City companies where it is necessary to meet the purpose for which information has been submitted. By submitting data on the Pet City website you are providing explicit consent to interregional transmission of such data.

This Site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Pet City protects the confidentiality of TRUST assessment respondents by not disclosing their personally identifiable information to third parties, including our customers, advertisers, the media and members of the public.

Pet City uses respondents' personally-identifiable information only for internal research purposes.
Pet City makes its consultants and subcontractors aware of our confidentiality principles, and they agree to maintain and respect respondents' confidentiality.
Pet City reports TRUST assessment and survey findings to others in aggregate form only. We do not report any data permitting identification of individual respondents.

ACCURACY
When personally identifiable information is retained Pet City assumes responsibility for keeping an accurate record of the information once a visitor has submitted and verified the data. Pet City does not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of the content of personal information. When practically possible, if Pet City is informed that any personal data collected through a website is no longer accurate we will make appropriate corrections based on the updated information provided by the visitor.
CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION
Information and services on the Pet City website are not designed for or directed at children 13 years of age or younger and Pet City does not knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13.
