During the Summer months most of our unusual pets won't need to be heated however, outside of Summer, all Scorpions, Spiders and Hermit Crabs will need to heated in order to remain active.
An easy way to heat these animals is via one of the many heat mats we have for sale. These mats sit under the enclosure and heat the substrate which is great for these burrowing insects and arachnids. These heat mats also help hermit crabs when they are changing shells.
